Responsibilities
- Implement, test and own new UI features and enhancements to Presdo’s web-based service using the latest Ajax techniques, creating user experiences that will delight and surprise users
- Work with the rest of the engineering team to integrate functional logic into UI components
- Participate in the product design process and represent the voice of engineering as well as what will be important to users
- Help lead the definition of an architectural foundation at the UI level that will allow the company to quickly and effectively deliver UI features with high quality to the marketplace

Experience, Education
- Thorough knowledge with JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and JavaScript-based frameworks, such as JQuery and Prototype
- At least 4 years of implementation experience with Ajax-based UIs and relevant UI frameworks
- Good, practical knowledge of differences between major browsers and what it takes to provide a consistent user experience across browsers
- Development experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails (RoR) or Java highly desired
- Experience with modern engineering practices, including the use of agile and iterative development methods such as Scrum, object-oriented design, design patterns, and test-driven development
- Passion for creating great user experiences, especially for consumer Internet applications
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
- MS or BS in Computer Science or related field
Product Manager

Responsibilities
- Define the overall product and community experience for our users and own the product roadmap
- Create actionable, highly-iterative product requirements from user needs, market and partner analysis
- Define and own all product metrics, including virality, retention and usage metrics
- Improve on key metrics using techniques like A/B testing
- Conduct user surveys and interviews—you enjoy spending time with users, being perceptive and getting to know what they want
- Work with engineering to make trade-offs based on feasibility, cost and business value
- Define revenue products based on the current product or extensions of the company's technology
- Manage the customer support process, ensuring feedback is properly incorporated into the product process
- Have a sense of urgency, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion
Experience
- 4-7 years of recent experience with Web 2.0, consumer facing or small business product experiences, including communications, social networking or community-oriented applications
- Results and metrics driven: you can find and measure causal relationships between your efforts and results
- At least 2 years recent experience working with engineering teams using agile development methodologies such as Scrum or extreme programming methodologies
- Ability to communicate a compelling vision for the product experience to others using visual tools, be they whiteboards, mockups, or napkins
Software Engineers

- Experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails (RoR), supporting tools, and frameworks
- Experience with Java, Java server-side application frameworks
- Ajax-based UIs and relevant UI frameworks, JavaScript and preferably CSS
- Full understanding of web technologies from HTTP on up
- Experience working with and defining relational database schemas based on model requirements
- Experience with modern engineering practices, including the use of object-oriented development, design patterns, test-driven development, and rapid and iterative development methods
- Passion for creating great user experiences, especially for consumer Internet applications
- Passion for finding elegant solutions to complex problems
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others

Outlook Software Engineer

- Design, develop and deliver Outlook-based extensions to the company's product
- Implement test suites to ensure high-quality delivery of Windows functionality on supported Windows configurations
- Help define APIs with the Presdo service to ensure to enable rich, interactive experiences on the desktop and other clients

Experience, Education
- At least 4 years experience developing industrial-strength, consumer-facing Windows applications
- Passion for developing great applications on the “desktop”
- Deep experience with Windows technologies, including MAPI, C#, C++, COM
- Previous experience implementing COM add-ins into Office applications, especially with Outlook
- Experience integrating client applications with server-based services using REST APIs
- Experience with modern engineering practices, including the use of object-oriented development, design patterns, test-driven development, and rapid and iterative development methods
- At least 2 years experience working in an agile development environment, such as Scrum or extreme programming
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
